Harry Underwood was a full time student at the London School of Photo -engraving and Lithography, Bolt Court, Fleet Street. Served a five year apprenticeship as a Lithographic Artist and worked for London Print films until electronic scanners reduced the need for artists. Became Studio Manager for a Lithographic print firm until going Freelance in 1968. Move to Islay in 1986. Commissions undertaken. The paintings reproduced below are all sold but will give an idea of his style.
